We recommend a first-time consultation to anyone interested in our microblading service. Initial fee counts towards the service.
A technique that deposits plant-based cream pigments into the skin to fill-in sparse brows to create a natural hair look.
Because microblading is semi-permanent, it will fade over time. Skin type, pigment color & sun exposure determine how fast your pigments break down.
Hairstroke eyebrows heal best on normal to dry skin types. Hairstrokes may not work well on clients with previously tattooed or lasered skin. For those with oily skin types and larger pores results may appear softer and more powdery.
Correction and touch-up work is taken on a very limited basis and requires that anyone who has had their brows previously microbladed by another artist come in for a consultation before booking an appointment. If you book an appointment without disclosing previous microbladed work your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment cancelled.
It is required that you come in for a consultation if you are in need of correction work or have had previously tattooed or microbladed brows done elsewhere. If you book an appointment without disclosing previously tattooed or microbladed work your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment cancelled. A $100 deposit via is required to reserve your appointment. Your deposit is non-refundable, but goes towards the total balance due. No appointments will be booked without a deposit and the remainder of your balance is due at the time of your appointment.
If you have reference photos please feel free to bring these to your appointment. If you prefer to have your brows waxed or threaded do so 7 days before your appointment. Otherwise stray hairs will be removed the day of your appointment by tweezing. You must not go tanning for 30 days prior to your procedure. You must not use Retin-A near the brow area before or after the procedure. Do not work out the day of your appointment. You cannot take any medications that may thin your blood (i.e. Asprin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, Vitamin E) 72 hours before or immediately after your procedure. Do not drink alcohol the night before or day of your procedure. Avoid caffine the day of your appointment.
Doing any of the above may cause bleeding, which will affect how well your body retains pigment.
As with every tattoo, it is recommended to avoid pools, salt water and extreme sun exposure for at least two weeks following your appointment, so make vacation plans accordingly!
You will be given a consent form to sign. Your existing brows will shaped, outlined and an anesthetic cream will be applied to minimize discomfort. The procedure will start when the numbing cream has taken effect. When the procedure is completed, a triple antibiotic ointment will be applied to assist in the healing process. The procedure takes 2-3 hours from start to finish.

People with lighter hair, correction work or sparse eyebrows may require more than one touch up to reach their desired look at an additional cost.
Because microblading is semi-permanent it will fade over time. Skin type (oily skin will heal lighter), pigment color (lighter colors fade faster) & sun exposure will determine how fast the pigments break down. For the best results be sure to follow the after instructions and touch up every 1-2 years or as needed. Touch ups are normal and expected. *Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals, your first touch up appointment is scheduled at 4-6 weeks where we can assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary. Often, even with proper care clients develop bald spots or loose original hair strokes which makes brows look uneven. This is absolutely normaI. That is why it is very imperative to receive your 8 week touchup on time to assure that brows are perfectly even and your desired effect is achieved.
Your brows will appear much darker and bolder than they will heal. You may experience some redness or swelling around the area, though this typically disappears within 48 hours.
Brows take 4-6 weeks to fully heal. Within a few days (typically 7-10) you will notice some scabbing or flaking on the microbladed area, do not pick at these, doing so can result in loss of pigment in those areas. You may notice that some areas may appear very light or even to have lost pigment entirely, however your skin will continue to regenerate and exfoliate naturally in the coming weeks.
During weeks 3-6 you will notice your strokes start to reappear and settle. At 4-6 weeks your brows will be fully healed. If you’d prefer darker, bolder brows we can always add more color or dimension during your follow-up appointment!
