Hairstroke eyebrows heal best on normal to dry skin types. Hairstrokes may not work well on clients with previously tattooed or lasered skin. For those with oily skin types and larger pores results may appear softer and more powdery.
Correction and touch-up work is taken on a very limited basis and requires that anyone who has had their brows previously microbladed by another artist come in for a consultation before booking an appointment. If you book an appointment without disclosing previous microbladed work your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment cancelled.

Do not drink alcohol the night before or day of your procedure. Avoid caffine the day of your appointment.

Candidates interested in microblading should consult with their physician if they are exposed to, have done, experiencing or are any of the following:
*On blood-thinning medications(e.g. aspirin)
*Freshly tanned/sunburned face
*Currently using Accutane or have used Accutane within the past year
*Retin-A (causes a high risk of infection)
*Cancer (must be in remission and released from doctors care)
*Botox (candidate should get 3D Eyebrow Embroidery/Microblading first then botox)
*Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)
You must provide written permission from your physician if you are taking COUMADIN or HEPARIN. People with active skin diseases such as psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, undiagnosed rashes and those with allergies to makeup or colors are not good candidates for the microblading procedure.
Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals, your first touch up appointment is scheduled at 4-6 weeks where we can assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary.
The strokes will look like natural hair only a little softer and more muted after they fade.
People with lighter hair, correction work or sparse eyebrows may require more than one touch up to reach their desired look at an additional cost.
Because microblading is semi-permanent it will fade over time. Skin type (oily skin will heal lighter), pigment color (lighter colors fade faster) & sun exposure will determine how fast the pigments break down. For the best results be sure to follow the after instructions and touch up every 1-2 years or as needed. Touch ups are normal and expected. *Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals, your first touch up appointment is scheduled at 4-6 weeks where we can assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary. Often, even with proper care clients develop bald spots or loose original hair strokes which makes brows look uneven. This is absolutely normaI. That is why it is very imperative to receive your 8 week touchup on time to assure that brows are perfectly even and your desired effect is achieved.
Your brows will appear much darker and bolder than they will heal. You may experience some redness or swelling around the area, though this typically disappears within 48 hours.
Brows take 4-6 weeks to fully heal. Within a few days (typically 7-10) you will notice some scabbing or flaking on the microbladed area, do not pick at these, doing so can result in loss of pigment in those areas. You may notice that some areas may appear very light or even to have lost pigment entirely, however your skin will continue to regenerate and exfoliate naturally in the coming weeks.
During weeks 3-6 you will notice your strokes start to reappear and settle. At 4-6 weeks your brows will be fully healed. If you’d prefer darker, bolder brows we can always add more color or dimension during your follow-up appointment!
